Web Host Search started off as an ISP search tool - the largest and most successful in Canada - CanadianISP.

Building on our success in one corner of the world, we realized that there is a global need for a similarly unbiased search amongst web and solution hosting providers, thus Web Host Search was born.

In doing our background research, we found that so many other hosting comparison sites weren't really comparisons at all - they were just lists - Often, only lists of web hosts who had paid to be on said lists.

Here, we are different: Web hosts are listed on our site absolutely free of charge - After all, you, the person looking for a hosting solution, do not necessarily need to see only hosts with the deepest pockets - You need to see the host that matches your needs. This is what we do: Give you a list of options in a host that you indicate you need and we will show you only hosts that match those needs.
